The District

The Boulevard Berthier stretches along public gardens and squares right in the heart of the “Ternes” area. You walk from an hectic place with all its shops to a more peaceful one with the old flower market. The rue de Courcelles is the place to go for all ‘’shopping addicts’. The rue Poncelet and its old traditional market will give you a picturesque idea of the place. For the more romantic and those fond of literature, come and follow Guy de Maupassant’s footsteps in the Parc Monceau. The Perreire brothers, who initiated the first railway, Eiffel and Bartholdi, the creators of the Liberty Statue, they all worked there! Either for business or leisure, enjoy the restaurants, shows, within easy reach : the Champs Elysées, the Palais des Congrès Porte Maillot, La Defense, everything within a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
“L ‘espace Champerret” (a fair centre) is also very close..
